Now saved this in a way that I will actually find again rather than the casual bookmark approach, and a stop at almostfashionablemovie earned the same careful saving, organising my reading bookmarks so that high quality sources rise to the top is something I should do more of and this site triggered that organisation today.

OK — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so figured I’d write something up since a mate asked me a few days back. I’m based in the UK, mostly bet football and racing, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the one I use most — you put in your stake, the odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the bigger stuff — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at vig free calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

What genuinely made a difference is the geekier tools. There’s an probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is terrifying. The dutching one is decent when I’m covering two or three runners.

Couple of gripes. The interface is very functional, let’s say — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. Also there’s nothing on the app store, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

So yeah. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone still does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

A slim post with substantial content per word, and a look at zz-meta maintained the same density, the content per word ratio is something I track informally and this site scores high on that ratio compared to most sources I read regularly which is a quiet indicator of careful editorial work behind the scenes.

Great work on keeping things readable, the post never drags or repeats itself which I really appreciate, and a stop at ulviroline added a bit more context that fit naturally with what was already said here, no need to read everything twice to get the point being made today.

Reading this post made me realise I had been settling for lower quality elsewhere, and a look at premiumdigitalbuying extended that recalibration, content that exposes how much I had been accepting in adjacent sources is content with calibrating effect on my standards and this site is performing that calibration function across topics for me reliably.

However selective I am about new bookmarks this one made it past my filter, and a look at nolarobond confirmed the bookmark was worth the slot, the precious slots in my permanent bookmark folder are difficult to earn and this site earned one without making me think twice about whether the slot was justified by the quality.
