Picked this up while looking for something else and ended up reading every paragraph because it was actually informative, and after zylavocapital I was sure I would come back, that does not happen often when most sites bury the useful parts under endless ads and pop ups today and across most categories online.

So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m UK based, generally do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an e/w return actually came to when the place terms changed. I used to just wing it and get a shock. These days I stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get returns straight away, either odds format. There’s also the bigger stuff — trebles maths, lucky 15s, yankees, and that’s where most people I know got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here super heinz buchmacher and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that genuinely changed how I bet was the more serious bits. There’s an probability thing and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly criterion tool — I use half kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. The interface is a bit basic — zero frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — saves me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

Strong recommendation from me, anyone curious about the topic should make time for this, and a look at sega-live only sharpens that recommendation further, the kind of resource that holds up against careful scrutiny rather than crumbling at the first critical question is rare and worth pointing other people toward when the topic comes up.

Reading this triggered a small but real correction in something I had assumed, and a stop at cavaroline extended that corrective effect, content that updates my beliefs through evidence rather than rhetoric is content with intellectual integrity and this site has earned that label consistently across the pieces I have read so far today.
