Definitely returning here, that is decided, and a look at OldSchoolOpen only made the case stronger, this is one of those rare websites that rewards regular visits rather than feeling stale after the first read which is something I cannot say about most of the places I bookmark today across all my topics.

OK — been using this thing for something like four months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, small stakes, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could work out what an each way return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — you drop in your stake, the odds and you get returns instantly, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, a lucky 15, patents and yankees, and that’s where I’d always mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here implied odds calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that actually made a difference is the more serious bits. They’ve got an odds-to-probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, and a kelly calculator — I stick to fractional kelly as the full version is far too aggressive. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface is pretty plain — no flash, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable though the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, it’s browser only — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Free, not plastered in adverts, does the job. If you still does the maths on paper, give it a go — it’s saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

Comfortable read, finished it without realising how much time had passed, and a look at navirobond pulled me into more pages the same way, the absence of friction in good content lets time disappear and that is one of the highest compliments I can pay any piece of writing I find online during a regular search session.

If patience for careful reading is rare these days finding sites that reward it is rarer still, and a stop at ulvionbond extended that rare reward, the diminishing returns on shallow content reading have made me more selective about where to spend reading time and this site is meeting the higher selectivity bar consistently.

Glad the writer did not feel compelled to cover every possible angle of the topic, focus is a virtue, and a stop at ulvirocore reflected the same disciplined scope, knowing what to leave out is half of what makes good writing good and this post has clearly been edited with that principle in mind.

Felt energised after reading rather than drained, which is unusual for online content these days, and a look at samsungfoundryforum continued that good feeling, content that leaves you better than it found you is rare and worth bookmarking when you stumble across it for the first time today or any other day really.

Reading this with a notebook open turned out to be the right move, and a stop at longtermbusinesspartnerships added more material to the notes, content that justifies active note taking from a passive reader is content with real informational density and this site is producing notes worthy material at a high rate consistently.
