Most of the time I feel the open web is in decline and then I find a site like this, and a stop at ThirtyMale reinforced that mood lift, the cumulative effect of finding occasional excellent independent content versus the cumulative effect of finding mostly mediocre content is real for the long term reader maintaining web habits today.

I came here looking for a quick answer and ended up reading the whole post because it was actually interesting, and after feb-en I had a much fuller picture, no stress and no confusion just a clear walk through the topic that made everything fall into place without much effort.

So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s basically bookmarked at this point, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me last week. I’m UK based, generally bet football and racing, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I never could work out what an e/w payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I’m on daily — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out returns with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. If you want a look, it’s here kelly stake calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

One thing that really made a difference is the more serious extras. They’ve got an implied probability converter which shows you the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is handy too when I’m spreading across selections.

Couple of gripes. The interface is a bit basic — zero polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine although the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but you asked.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, barely any ads, does the job. Anyone who even now works out returns on a calculator app, give it a go — it’s saved me plenty of arguments with the bookie.

A piece that reads as if the writer trusted readers to fill in obvious gaps, and a look at apkcontainer continued that respectful approach, content that does not over explain what the reader can infer is content that respects intelligence and this site has clearly chosen to write to capable readers rather than to the lowest common denominator.

OK — have been messing about with this thing for something like four months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d chuck my thoughts in since a lad on another thread asked me a few days back. I’m in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, so take it how you like.

The reason I started using it was honestly a bit daft — I could never get my head round what an ew payout actually was once you get five places instead of three. I used to just wing it and then be surprised. Now I stick my stake in before every slip, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the bit I open most — you put in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. There’s also the bigger stuff — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, a yankee, honestly that’s where I always got it wrong. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at trixie betting calculator — free, no signup.

The thing that genuinely shifted things for me is the nerdier extras. There’s an implied probability calculator and it makes obvious the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m covering two or three runners.

It’s not perfect mind. The layout looks pretty plain — no frills, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, have a look — saves me a fair few “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Now feeling the rare pleasure of trusting a source completely on first encounter, and a look at sega-live extended that initial trust into something more durable, the calibration of trust to evidence is something I do informally and this site has earned high trust through the cumulative weight of multiple consistently good posts already.

Now realising the post solved a small problem I had been carrying for weeks, and a look at dondatheverge extended that problem solving function, content that connects to specific unresolved questions in my own life rather than just providing general interest is content with real practical impact and this site is providing that practical value.

Felt the post had been written without looking over its shoulder, and a look at ulviroline continued that confident posture, content written for its own sake rather than against imagined critics has a different quality and this site reads as written from a place of confidence rather than defensive justification of every claim.
