OK — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way return actually was once you get five places instead of three. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now punch the numbers in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

Their single bet calculator is the one I’m on daily — you drop in your stake, the odds and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the multiples — acca and treble maths, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s over at implied probability betting odds and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

What really made a difference were the nerdier extras. There’s an probability thing and it makes obvious what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly since full stakes are a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutch tool is decent if I’m splitting a race.

Not all sunshine though. The design is pretty plain — no flash, which honestly I don’t mind but some will. Phone-wise it’s usable but the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s no proper app, just the site — fine by me just flagging it.

Right, that’s me. Free, barely any ads, does the job. If you even now works out returns on a calculator app, try it — saved me a load of arguments with the bookie.

Thank you for the genuine effort here, it shows in every paragraph and not just the headline, and after my visit to zavirolinecore I was sure this site cares about getting things right rather than chasing clicks, which is the main reason I will come back later this week to read more.

Now feeling something close to gratitude for the fact this site exists, and a look at urbanbuyingdestination extended that gratitude, the rare site that produces this kind of response is the rare site worth defending in conversations about whether the modern internet is still capable of producing genuinely valuable independent content for serious adults.

Reading this in pieces over a coffee break and finding it consistently rewarding, and a stop at xelivoline extended that into related material I will return to later, the kind of site that fits naturally into small reading windows without requiring a long uninterrupted block is genuinely useful for how I actually browse.
