Now placing this in the small category of sites whose updates I would actually want to know about, and a stop at xelarionet confirmed that placement, the difference between sites I want to follow and sites I just consume from is real and this one has crossed into the active follow category from the casual consumption side.

So — been on this thing for something like a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, reckon I’d write something up since a mate asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mainly stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was honestly a bit daft — I couldn’t ever get my head round what an ew payout would be when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in first, every time, even the boring singles.

Their single bet calculator tool is the bit I open most — type in your stake, the odds and it shows returns instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the bigger stuff — acca and treble returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, which is where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at matched betting automatcher and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that really shifted things for me is the geekier tools. They’ve got an implied probability thing which shows you the overround, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is a quick route to a dead bankroll. Dutching calculator is handy too if I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. The design is pretty plain — zero polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On my phone it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown make you pinch and zoom. There’s no app, it’s a website and that’s it — slight shame but worth saying.

Anyway. Costs nowt, barely any ads, does the job. If anyone still adds it up in their head, have a look — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.

Now recognising that this site has earned a place in the small group of resources I treat as authoritative, and a stop at SaveAustinNeighborhoods confirmed that placement, the difference between resources I trust and resources I just consume is real and this site has clearly moved into the trusted category through consistent quality over time.

Once I trust a site this much I tend to read everything they publish and that is the trajectory I am on with this one, and a stop at xevirobonding confirmed the trajectory, the rare progression from interested reader to comprehensive reader is something only certain sites earn and this one is earning that progression rapidly.

Closed the tab feeling I had spent the time well, and a stop at xanerobond extended that feeling across more pages, the test of whether time on a site was well spent is one I apply silently after closing tabs and very few sites pass it but this one passed it cleanly today afternoon clearly.

So — been on this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, reckon I’d write something up since a lad on another thread asked me the other day. Am based in the UK, mostly stick to footie and the horses, nothing mad, for context.

The reason I started using it was honestly embarrassing — I could never get my head round what an ew return would be once you get five places instead of three. I’d just wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator tool is the one I open most — type in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, either odds format. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles maths, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at treble accumulator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

One thing that really changed how I bet was the nerdier bits. They’ve got an probability converter and it makes obvious the overround, and there’s the kelly staking calculator — I use half kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

It’s not perfect mind. The interface looks pretty plain — not much frills, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it works although the acca grid make you pinch and zoom. There’s no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Anyway. Free, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If you still adds it up in their head, try it — it’s saved me plenty of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Now appreciating that I did not feel exhausted after reading, and a stop at xelivoline extended that energising quality, content that leaves me with more attention than it consumed is rare and the gap between draining and energising content is real over the course of a typical day spent reading widely online.
