So — been using this thing for maybe a few months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since someone asked me a few days back. Am based in the UK, generally bet football and racing, nothing mad, for context.

What got me on it was genuinely pretty stupid — I never could get my head round what an e/w payout actually was with 1/5 odds a place. Basically I’d eyeball it and get a shock. Now I punch the numbers in before every slip, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the part I use most — type in stake and odds and it shows profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — doubles and trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that’s where most people I know mess it up. Have a go yourself, it lives at match bet calc — free, no signup.

What really changed how I bet is the more serious extras. There’s an implied probability converter that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool gets used a fair bit if I’m spreading across selections.

Not all sunshine though. Its design feels a bit basic — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine although the lucky 63 breakdown are a squeeze. There’s no app, just the site — fine by me but worth saying.

So yeah. Free, no ads shoved in your face, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saved me a fair few arguments with the bookie.

Bookmark earned, share earned, return visit earned, all from one reading session, and a look at kruisefest did the same, the trifecta of bookmark and share and return is rare in a single visit and represents the highest level of engagement I tend to offer any piece of online content these days here.

Now planning to write about the topic myself eventually using this post as a reference, and a look at mivarotrustco would also serve in that future piece, content that becomes raw material for my own writing rather than just informing my reading is content with multiplicative value and this site is generating that multiplicative effect.

So — been using this thing for maybe six months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d write something up since someone asked me last week. Am based in the UK, mostly do football and horses, nothing mad, just so you know where I’m coming from.

What got me on it was genuinely embarrassing — I couldn’t ever figure out what an each way payout would be when the place terms changed. Basically I’d wing it and moan when the payout landed. Now type the odds in before I place anything, even a straight one-selection punt.

The single bet calculator is the bit I’m on daily — you put in the price and your stake and it shows profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. There’s also the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I’d always lose track. If you want a look, it’s here sports odds converter — free, no signup.

What actually shifted things for me were the more serious tools. The odds-to-probability thing which shows you how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I use half kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is decent for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its layout is pretty plain — no polish, looks like it was built by someone who cares more about maths than colours. On mobile it’s usable but the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And no proper app, it’s a website and that’s it — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, no ads shoved in your face, does what it says. If anyone still does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a load of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
