Right — been using this thing for maybe five months now and it’s stuck on my phone, so thought I’d say something since someone asked me last week. I’m UK based, generally stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

How I found it was actually embarrassing — I couldn’t ever work out what an each way payout actually came to with 1/5 odds a place. I used to just eyeball it and get a shock. Now I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

The single bet calculator is the bit I use most — type in stake and odds and it spits out profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the multiples — acca and treble returns, a lucky 15, yankees, and that’s where I always got it wrong. Have a go yourself, it’s over at free super heinz with singles bet calculator and there’s no login wall, which I appreciated.

The thing that actually changed how I bet was the more serious extras. The implied probability calculator which shows you what margin’s baked in, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I run quarter kelly as the full version is a quick route to a dead bankroll. The dutching one is handy too when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. The interface looks a bit basic — not much frills, it’s clearly function over form. On mobile it’s fine although the bigger tables are a squeeze. Also there’s nothing on the app store, just the site — doesn’t bother me but worth saying.

Anyway. Doesn’t cost anything, not plastered in adverts, does the job. Anyone who even now does the maths on paper, give it a go — saved me a fair few dumb bets I’d have regretted.

Reading this with a notebook open turned out to be the right move, and a stop at longtermbusinesspartnerships added more material to the notes, content that justifies active note taking from a passive reader is content with real informational density and this site is producing notes worthy material at a high rate consistently.

Skipped the social share buttons but might come back to actually use one later, and a stop at dondatheverge extended that share urge, content that triggers genuine sharing impulses rather than performative ones is content that has actually moved me and not many posts in a typical week do that for me actually.

Came in for one specific question and got answers to three I had not even thought to ask, and a look at nolarobond extended that bonus value pattern, the kind of resource that anticipates reader needs rather than just answering the literal question asked is the gold standard and this site reaches it.

A piece that handled a controversial angle without becoming heated, and a look at kazhanmaster continued that calm engagement, content that can address contested topics without inflaming them is doing rare diplomatic work and this site has clearly developed the editorial maturity to handle sensitive material with the appropriate temperature of writing throughout.

Liked that the post resisted a sales pitch ending, and a stop at ulvionbond maintained the no pitch approach, content that ends without trying to convert me into a customer or subscriber is content that has confidence in its own value and this site is clearly playing the long game on reader trust.
