OK — have been messing about with this thing for something like five months now and I keep coming back, so figured I’d say something since a mate asked me last week. Am in the UK, generally stick to footie and the horses, a fiver here and there, so take it how you like.

What got me on it was genuinely a bit daft — I could never work out what an each way payout actually was when the place terms changed. I’d just wing it and then be surprised. Now stick my stake in before I place anything, even the boring singles.

The single bet calculator tool is the bit I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and you get profit and total return with no faffing, fractional or decimal, doesn’t matter. Same tool covers the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15s, a yankee, which is where most people I know mess it up. If you fancy a poke about, it’s here accumulator matched betting calculator and it’s free with no account nonsense.

The thing that genuinely changed how I bet is the geekier tools. The probability thing and it makes obvious how much the bookie’s taking, plus a kelly staking tool — I run quarter kelly because full kelly is terrifying. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit for when I’m splitting a race.

Couple of gripes. Its design looks a bit basic — zero frills, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s usable although the lucky 63 breakdown need a bit of scrolling. And nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

So yeah. Free, not plastered in adverts, does what it says. If you honestly does the maths on paper, try it — it’s saved me a load of “wait, that’s it?” moments.

Generally my comment to other readers about new sites is to wait and see but for this one I would jump to recommend now, and a look at zavirotrustco reinforced that early recommendation, the speed at which a site earns my recommendation is itself a quality signal and this one has earned mine quickly clearly.

I really like the calm tone here, it does not push anything on the reader, and after I went through almostfashionablemovie I felt the same way, just steady useful content laid out without drama, which is exactly what someone trying to learn something quickly needs to find rather than aggressive marketing.

A particular pleasure to read this with a fresh coffee, and a look at xelariounion extended the pleasure across more pages, content that pairs well with quiet morning rituals is something I have come to value highly and this site has the kind of energy that fits naturally into a calm reading routine.

So — have been messing about with this thing for maybe five months now and I keep coming back, so thought I’d chuck my thoughts in since a mate asked me a few days back. Am in the UK, mainly do football and horses, small stakes, just so you know where I’m coming from.

How I found it was actually a bit daft — I never could figure out what an each way return actually came to once you get five places instead of three. I used to just guess and moan when the payout landed. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

Their single bet calculator is the part I’m on daily — type in stake and odds and you get profit and total return instantly, fractions or decimals. It also handles the fiddly ones — acca and treble returns, lucky 15s, yankees, honestly that’s where I always mess it up. If you want a look, it’s here matched betting gratis — free, no signup.

One thing that really changed how I bet is the more serious extras. There’s an probability thing that shows how much the bookie’s taking, and there’s the kelly criterion tool — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is terrifying. The dutch tool is handy too for when I’m covering two or three runners.

Not all sunshine though. Its design feels a bit basic — not much polish, it’s clearly function over form. Phone-wise it’s fine though the bigger tables are a squeeze. There’s nothing on the app store, it’s browser only — doesn’t bother me just flagging it.

Anyway. Costs nowt, not plastered in adverts, works. If you honestly works out returns on a calculator app, try it — it’s saved me plenty of dumb bets I’d have regretted.
